I started at the age of 17, and it was actually my grandmother's food that opened my eyes to the art of cooking. She was a trained cook and it was always a pleasure to eat with her. I especially remember that she made the most amazing bread and that her dishes were made in exciting and quirky ways that really made the food different and delicious to eat.
When I was 17, I started an apprenticeship in the restaurant business, but before that I helped out with the insanely talented Michelin-starred chef Francis Cardenau at St. Kro. After seeing him in a kitchen, I knew I wanted to be a chef.
My regular customers call me their "family chef" as I always make a point of being smiling, warm and welcoming. Inviting a private chef into your home is a matter of trust.
