About Me – Giacomo & Luca, Sharing the Heart of Southern Italy in Copenhagen
Hello, I’m Giacomo, and along with my dear friend Luca, I bring a piece of Southern Italy to Copenhagen. We moved here 12 years ago, carrying with us a deep love for our roots and a passion for authentic Italian cuisine.
I’ve been fortunate to work in some incredible places throughout my career, such as Charlottehaven, Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Famo Metro, and Mother Restaurant. Each experience has shaped me into the chef I am today, and now, I’m proud to continue my journey at Linden, an Italian restaurant where I can share the rich flavors of my Southern Italian heritage with the people of Copenhagen.
My goal has always been to create food that brings people together, using fresh, high-quality ingredients and the traditional techniques I’ve mastered over the years. Every dish I make is infused with the love and warmth that Southern Italy is known for, and I believe that’s what makes each meal special.
Luca and I are driven by the desire to offer an authentic Italian experience—one that celebrates the essence of Southern Italian cooking and welcomes everyone to join us at the table. We’re excited to share our passion for food with you!

On the actual day of the birthday celebration, we held a test dinner to finalize the last details regarding the food and wine, timing, etc., and for the chef couple to see the local conditions.
And on the actual day of the celebration, the chefs, Giacomo and Luca, completely lived up to my and our expectations. The food was top-notch, and the service was just as good. There was good communication between the guests and the chefs throughout the dinner, and not least, they were flexible with the speeches that were given. No grumpy faces even though the speeches were long. They cleaned up nicely after themselves.
So, it was an entirely successful dinner. So thank you from me.
