Foreword
Instead of the traditional Christmas lunch, this is served as a series of smaller dishes around traditional items such as herring, roast pork, smoked eel, fish cakes, tenderloin medallions, warm pate, sausages, and cabbage or whatever you choose from a wide range of suggestions. It is all served with rye bread, sourdough bread, and butter.
