My name is Kristoffer Randrup and I am behind Randrup Dining.
I cook because I enjoy creating great experiences - and because I know how much it means when everything just works when you have invited guests.
My menus are always meant as inspiration. For me, dialogue is the most important thing, and I am happy to have the conversation one more time so that we arrive at the right solution. Whether it is the menu, the atmosphere, the pace, or small details, I am happy to go the extra step to make sure your event is exactly as you imagined it.
When you book Randrup Dining, it may be me - or one of my skilled colleagues - who is in charge of the food. What we all have in common is that we show up well prepared, have everything under control, and take responsibility all the way through, so you can relax and enjoy the day or evening.

I had booked Kristoffer for a private dining experience in connection with a special dinner, and my expectations were naturally set accordingly.
I had chosen Kristoffer based on the many positive reviews, where especially his ability to present the food, talk about the culinary considerations, and create an experience out of the ordinary was highlighted.
Unfortunately, it turned out that Kristoffer himself did not show up at all. Instead, another chef, Hugo, arrived, without me at any point being informed about the change.
Hugo was incredibly nice and pleasant, and the food was quite good. However, he had neither planned nor prepared the menu and therefore also did not have the prerequisites to present the dishes or talk about the ideas behind them. As a result, an important part of the experience I had booked and paid for was missing.
I fully understand that one can be prevented from showing up. Had Kristoffer contacted me and explained the situation, while also ensuring a skilled replacement who was properly prepared for the task, my experience would likely have been very different.
But sending another chef without informing the customer at all, and without ensuring that the person can deliver the experience that has been sold, I simply do not think is acceptable.
It is important for me to emphasize that the criticism is in no way directed at Hugo, who did his best with the conditions he had been given.
My criticism is about the fact that I did not get the experience I had ordered and paid for. When booking private dining for a special occasion, you are not only paying for the food, but also for the overall experience.
On that basis, I unfortunately cannot recommend booking Kristoffer.

The chef we had out was super nice, had a very high level of service and was very adaptable, as our stove unfortunately suddenly died, so he simply handled all the frying on the grill instead ☺️

Really good and delicious food. The chef arrived an hour before the food was to be served and everything went according to plan. The serving staff were also lovely.
