Foreword

A seasonal menu with good local ingredients as much as possible, options for changes regarding allergens, etc. We agree together on a menu so that your favorite dishes and wishes are included with my interpretations.. options for multiple servings, snacks, etc. as well..

Birchs Gastronomy is run by Dennis Birch. I am a creative and passionate chef who has worked at Michelin and top restaurants in Denmark and abroad, and have been an active part of the Danish national chef team for several years. I am a humble and calm North Jutlander who is passionate about providing a good experience. Additionally, I make a lot of Nordic food with respect for the classic kitchen and believe that taste plays a big factor in my food! I am always up for a challenge, so please let me know.

Hvad skal jeg selv stå for, når jeg booker en kok?
Kokken står får både indkøb, madlavning, servering og oprydning i køkkenet. Derfor skal du blot stå for at dække bord, drikkevarer (medmindre du har tilkøb vinmenu eller lign.) og nyde tiden med dine gæster om bordet.

We were visited by the chef Martin when Dennis had fallen ill. He did really well, and the food was delicious.

Private dinner (housewarming) with ten good friends, where honestly, I didn't really feel like doing anything myself. Via Google, I found Chefme, which recommended Birchs - and I can understand why. The concept itself was brilliant as I didn't have to shop in the days leading up to the party, and on the day itself, I could relax at the table with the guests and enjoy the delicious and beautiful food that Dennis made for us. It was truly a good experience, and Dennis's demeanor made it feel like the most natural thing in the world to have a complete stranger cooking in my kitchen. And the guests expressed great enthusiasm that I didn't cook myself that day. Huge praise to the chef!
