Lean back and enjoy a lot of smaller servings, brought out several times as shareable food on the table. Perfect for those who can't choose but just want to taste a variety of down-to-earth gastronomy served with elegance and plenty of food joy directly from Lammefjorden and our own kitchen garden.

Croquettes with white fish, pickled garlic from Ingerøen, along with herbs from the garden and browned butter mayo
Tart with small tomatoes, sautéed onions & Gammel Knas from Arla Unika
Salad of crispy romaine, mixed beets, and confit free-range chicken. Served with sauce Verte
Slow-cooked veal from Næsvet with sautéed palm kale, purée of burnt celery, and pickled salad onions
Cassoulet with lima beans, baked eggplant, spinach from the kitchen garden, and escabeche of burnt bell pepper
Poached egg with sautéed chanterelles, coppa from Birthesminde, and plums from the garden
Pommes Anna with pickled celery & chopped parsley

Everything lived up to expectations:)

Everything has just worked perfectly. Good communication all the way through and Jens, who is super sharp at putting together a delicious menu that hit the spot, with wonderful taste experiences and well-prepared food. It's not the last time I will ask Jens to come and create a memorable evening for my guests and me.

Vi holdt bryllup, hvor gæsterne hovedsageligt kom fra Nordjylland, og alle har rost maden. Vi fik delemad til hovedret.

Super easy and wildly good experience with Jens!
We inquired with a single direction. Jens provided a draft menu and with small coordination back and forth, we ended up with a menu that sounded absolutely fantastic!
Jens was quick to respond to any questions and arrived on time.
Jens is super calm and pleasant, but above all a sublime chef!
It was truly delicious and the service proceeded perfectly!
The fact that the table was cleared and the kitchen cleaned up along the way made the experience absolutely fantastic!
We hope to be able to find an opportunity to use Jens again!

Meet Jens S.
My name is Jens, half Swedish, half Danish, and wholeheartedly a chef with nearly 30 years of experience as a cook, where I have worked as a head chef in everything from Michelin restaurants to Meyers canteens. However, it has never been stars that have driven me, but the love for flavor cut to the bone and the simplicity of good ingredients. Being able to pass that on, served on a plate to happy guests, is an experience every time.
Grounded gastronomy with elegance is the motto I work by!
Privately, my wife and our two children have a small country house in the picturesque Tuse Næs with 1 hectare of land, a view of Lammefjorden, spray-free kitchen garden, and organic chickens. Together, we run La Finca Catering, Private dining & Food workshop.
Sustainability, animal welfare, and the philosophy of farm to table are part of my cooking, just as I love to incorporate our own ingredients but also other high-quality local products into the meals for you and your guests.
