Hi, I'm Mohammed and I've spent the last 7 years of my life cooking in the dark. This means that I cook without relying on my eyesight. In 2016, I started sharing my passion for cooking without sight on social media. Now I'm proud to present my concept: Food in Darkness.
What is Food in Darkness? The purpose of Mad i Mørke is to create a fun and cozy evening where you, your family and/or friends can experience what it's like to be blind for an evening. Together we will talk, prepare, enjoy and eat food together - wearing blind glasses. The kitchen transforms into the dark kitchen and your other senses are suddenly challenged in a whole new way.
Even though you might feel out of your comfort zone with the goggles on, I'm here by your side every step of the way. I'll make sure you feel safe and comfortable throughout the evening. I'll share with you what it's like to be in my shoes and help break down taboos around visual impairment.
