Mit navn er Jens Söndergaard, halvt svensk, halvt dansk og helhjertet gastronom med snart 30 års erfaring som kok, hvor jeg har arbejdet som køkkenchef på alt fra Michelin-restauranter til Meyers kantiner. Dog har det aldrig været stjerner, der har drevet mig, men kærligheden til velsmag skåret ind til benen og enkeltheden i de gode råvarer. At kunne give netop dét videre, serveret på en tallerken til glade gæster er en oplevelse hver gang. Privat har jeg med min kone og vores to børn for nyligt købt et lille landsted med 1 hektar jord, udsigt til Lammefjorden, nyetableret økologisk køkkenhave og drømmen om på sigt at køre bl.a. pop-up restaurant, madskole og catering. Bæredygtighed, dyrevelfærd og filosofien om jord til bord er en del af min madlavning, ligesom jeg vil elske at lade vores egne råvarer men også andre lokale produkter af høj kvalitet indgå i maden til dig og dine gæster. Tag et kig på mine menuer som mest er til inspiration. Erfaringen fra mange private dining arrangementer og større og mindre selskaber fortæller mig, at den perfekte menu skaber vi i dialog.

What happens when I send a request to the chef?
When you send a request to a chef, you create a profile at the same time, so you will be notified when the chef has sent a response to the request. You will get access to a message thread, where you can write to the chef at any time and make further arrangements.
Can I change the chef's menu?
You can choose to start from one of the chefs' menus or have a menu tailored just for your taste buds.
Are you more into fish than meat? Or do you prefer cake to ice cream for dessert? Send a request to the chef and share your wishes so that you can put together a menu that suits you and your party. The chef also has the option of creating alternative menus based on allergies and children's menus.
Does the cook bring everything that is needed?
You will be able to see further up the page what the chef's requirements are for your kitchen, as well as what the chef is able to bring. If you are in doubt, you can ask the chef after you have sent a request.
What do I have to be responsible for when I book a chef?
The chef is responsible for both shopping, cooking, serving and cleaning up the kitchen. Therefore, you just have to be responsible for setting the table, drinks (unless you have an additional wine menu or similar) and enjoy the time with your guests around the table.
