Kvinden bag The Caribbean Housewife er hollandsk-caribisk chef, kunstner, kurator og kreativ entreprenør Jamain Brigitha. Hun laver 'Slow Fast Food' og 'Hot Soul Soup': sjælevarmende måltider for dem, som ikke har tid eller lyst til at lave mad. The Caribbean Housewife’s unikke køkken findes ingen andre steder i Danmark og er inspireret af traditionelle opskrifter fra tropiske steder i de vestindiske og sydamerikanske regioner. Alt er lavet fra bunden for lækre, hjemmelavede vegetariske, veganske og plantebaserede retter. Hvis du foretrækker kød, leverer vi f. eks. fantastisk Jerk Chicken. Jamain Brigitha har sans for detaljen og yder omsorgsfuld service fra A til Z. Hun begyndte at lave mad i en meget ung alder. At lave mad har altid været en vigtig del af hendes kreative liv og en måde at komme i kontakt med andre på. When you send a request to a chef, you create a profile at the same time, so you will be notified when the chef has sent a response to the request. You will get access to a message thread, where you can write to the chef at any time and make further arrangements.
You can choose to start from one of the chefs' menus or have a menu tailored just for your taste buds.
Are you more into fish than meat? Or do you prefer cake to ice cream for dessert? Send a request to the chef and share your wishes so that you can put together a menu that suits you and your party. The chef also has the option of creating alternative menus based on allergies and children's menus.
You will be able to see further up the page what the chef's requirements are for your kitchen, as well as what the chef is able to bring. If you are in doubt, you can ask the chef after you have sent a request.
The chef is responsible for both shopping, cooking, serving and cleaning up the kitchen. Therefore, you just have to be responsible for setting the table, drinks (unless you have an additional wine menu or similar) and enjoy the time with your guests around the table.
